A dear friend, Beverly Barnette, passed away this week. But the impact of her spirit on the lives of others will never go away. I say this with certainty after listening to those reviewing her life at her funeral.

I am so happy and grateful to have been a part of Beverly’s life, for I got to witness the actions of a person wholly in love with and dedicated to God. I’ll never forget and will always appreciate her persistent concern for my spiritual well being. I listened to her and always acted on her advice. Why? Because I knew it was God speaking to me through her. I’ve no doubt about this because God’s Word lived in Beverly and she in it.

For the rest of my life, Beverly’s life will be one that I can recall for inspiration and encouragement.

I thank God for Beverly. And I thank God for eternal life, which will allow us to be together again.
