The Fusion

decades since i met the LORD

was like a journey

an adventure

an escapade

i delved and probed

and searched

to know HIM

in fullness

i dug

deep

deep

deeper

i worked

in HIS house

it became

my haven

my dwelling

i ate i thought of HIM

and played i thought of HIM

and worked i thought of HIM

my time was all for HIM

but did I know

HIM enough?

in HIS fullness?

for all my longing and striving

to know HIM

more

than anything else

it felt

sometimes

like

chasing shadows

I paused

took a breath

took a break

worked with family

worked with friends

worked with strangers

worked with life

then

I saw

life

the life

the LORD

HE was in them

in people

in things

in rain

in sunshine

in me

in everything
